We’ve just received a limited selection of Tommy Mitchell’s coveted tole flowers—hand-crafted copper blooms that look like something lifted straight from the prettiest pages of Veranda. They’re the kind of forever florals that tuck onto mantels and bedside tables, and when they’re gone, we truly don’t know when we’ll see more.
Auriculas were once the darlings of Victorian “florists’ flowers” – tiny, velvety blooms displayed on dark shelves like little jewel-box performances. Tommy Mitchell’s Auricula in Clay Pot captures that romance in metal: a cluster of painted blossoms lifted above a rosette of leaves, set in a classic clay pot that looks as if it’s just been brought in from a chilly garden.
From his North Carolina studio, Mitchell and his team work in copper, steel, paint, and gold leaf to create floral sculptures that feel surprisingly alive—and stay in peak bloom forever. Each auricula is hand-cut, shaped, and layered with color so the petals catch light like the real thing, then anchored in a glazed terracotta pot just the right size for a bedside table or breakfast tray. At around fifteen inches tall, it’s substantial enough to stand alone, but petite enough to tuck into a vignette—an heirloom-scale gesture of flowers for the woman who notices every detail.

Do understand though that as most of our products are handmade and not mass produced, there will be some variation in finish, color, or size. But if any product arrives damaged, we will happily replace it. Please send back your return within 14 days of receiving it.
